Do you have a nasty Blitzball pitch or a monster home run swing that you want to show the world? Do you want a chance to be our next Blitzball video star? Submit your own Blitzball video on YouTube.com (make sure to use "blitzball" and "2012 contest" as your tags) and we may decide to feature your video on our front webpage and award you with one of THREE cash prizes ($1,200 for 1st Place, $600 for 2nd Place, $300 for 3rd Place)!
Our staff will continually search for awesome new Blitzball videos on YouTube throughout the 2012 baseball season before ultimately deciding on the best three to be our featured finalists for 2012-2013. We will then leave it up to the Facebook community to vote on which videos deserve the top prizes. For the 2012 video contest, we will accept any Blitzball videos that are submitted between 10/21/2011 and 10/01/12. Then, after a year-long Facebook voting process, the final 2012 video contest winners will be announced on our website on 10/15/13.
VIDEO CONTEST RULES:
1) All videos must be posted on YouTube.com (make sure to include the words "blitzball" and "2012 contest" as tags so that we can easily search for it), do not send any videos to us directly
2) The "Blitzball" name or logo must clearly appear somewhere in the beginning of your video
3) The www.collegehillgames.com website must clearly appear somewhere at the end of your video
4) We recommend that all music come directly from YouTube's "Audio Swap" library, otherwise you will need to get direct permission from the original music artist.
5) All new video entries must be between 45-60 seconds in length (so show your best stuff!).
6) By accepting any of our cash prizes, you also agree to transfer full rights and ownership of the prize-winning video content to the College Hill Games Company, as well as provide a DVD copy of the prize-winning video for use in any future marketing and commercial purposes.
